Adopt-A-Bride Program

Could you use a little extra cash for your 2010 wedding? Look no further!
The WBA Bridal Association has officially started the search for the 2010 Adopt a Bride program. Each year, the Association adopts one bride in financial need to receive $500 cash and a host of free services, including engagement photo session, bridal photo session, DJ services, and wedding coordination! The services are not required for you to use but are available if needed.

To be considered for adoption, simply email your story, in 200 words or less, to weddingsbyallie@yahoo.com. You also need to have a date secured in 2010, one signed contract and proof of deposit with a vendor and 3 referrals (co-workers, employer, pastor, etc.). All stories are due by December 1st! For more information, visit http://www.weddingsbyallie.com/.

If you have any questions, just let me know! Good luck!

Looking for something different?

I have become obsessed with Etsy. This site is a great place to buy or even sell vintage or handmade items. They have a wedding section that has tons of really unique invitations, decoration pieces, beautiful jewelry and more! If you are like me...love vintage and anything out-of-the-box...you will adore this site! Enjoy!

Let the adventure begin!

Hello all!

I am so excited to begin this new venture! I have completely fallen in love with the business of wedding and event planning and I am looking forward to taking my current involvement to a whole new level! I truly enjoy putting my creativity to the test to make sure everyone involved has a unique and positively memorable experience. As I continue to grow as an event coordinator and as Bliss Events begins to reeve its engines, I will update this blog with my experiences, important lessons and (fingers crossed) tons of funny stories!
