{Real Party} Eat, Drink and be Merry Holiday Dinner

Eat, Drink and be Merry!

This mantra combined with ivory and gold was my design theme for a recent Holiday dinner. I was super please with how everything turned out and I hope you will enjoy!

The invitation set the tone of the dinner and introduced our guests to the theme "Eat, Drink and be Merry!"

We dimmed the lights and let the warm candlelight and soft Holiday music welcome our guests.

Of course, these delicious passed appetizers and wine helped them feel welcomed too!

A couple close ups of our table decor, which was beautiful white flower arrangements in glass bubble vases, candles, gold ornaments and "Eat, Drink and be Merry" table signs.

Each guest had a menu card placed on a fabulous charger that is a piece of the University china set. The gold and ivory china fit into the decor so well...I loved using it!

Now to the meal...
To start, a wonderful spinach salad...

followed by a yummy pork tenderloin...

and finished with this sinfully delicious cheesecake!
If this dessert doesn't scream Happy Holidays, I don't know what does!

{Real Party} Red & Blue Holiday Luncheon

Well, hello! It has been WAY too long! Let me apologize for the lack of posts by posting some photos from my recent Holiday Luncheon.

I wanted to go for something a little less traditional so I opted for a color scheme of blues and cherry red with snowflake details. This was the scene for a ladies luncheon and presentation. It was a little chilly outside so we started the meal with a Shrimp and Corn soup...wow, wow, wow... it was tasty!

This was a fun event and a great way to welcome the holiday season! Enjoy!

Thanks to Drake's Catering for the tasty food,
Event Rental for the linens and chairs,
and Billy Heroman's for the lovely flowers!

{Real Wedding} Kim + Myles

Kim and Myles are one of my favorite couples because their love and friendship are so evident. Being a part of their special day was so touching. Plus, their family and friends were a blast at the reception! Speaking of the reception...WOW...gorgeous! The wedding was a traditional soiree with hints of modern flare. Enjoy...

{Real Party} Ice Cream Social

I scream, You scream, We all scream for ICE CREAM!

The Chancellor invited members of the Student Government Executive Staff for an informal ice cream social...and it was so much fun to work on!

We (ok....my hubby!) built a reusable backdrop out of PVC pipe and concrete to help welcome the special guests and set the stage for the amazing toppings table, provided by Drake's Catering.

These pictures are just horrible! I'm making the pledge now...no more phone photos! But, I hope you enjoy anyway! What you don't see are the adorable old-fashion glass coke bottles that really added to the theme...especially with the cute paper straws! Enjoy!

{Real Wedding} Sarrah + Trevor

This hot pink, black and white wedding was the definition of glam! I think we lit over 100 candles...talk about setting the mood! Sarrah and Trevor were so calm and comfortable throughout their big day...it was clear that their love was real and lasting. As you will see, Sarrah was a beautiful bride and I loved working with her! Enjoy!
