{Real Wedding} Katelyn + Billy

navy with pops of coral and blush, peonies, second-lining to the reception and signature cocktails...

These are a few of my favorite things!

Did I mention peonies??? Ah...LOVE!

I am so excited to share this wedding with you! I fell in love with Katelyn and Billy from the get go. I have been so lucky to know Katelyn since college but was blessed beyond measure when she contacted me early in her engagement to chat wedding details. Katelyn has always been a beautiful and happy girl...but I've never seen her light up like she does when she talks about Billy. When I saw Billy reciprocate that "light up" around Katelyn at our first meeting...I knew this was going to be a fun, beautiful wedding...and it was!

Their story is such a fun one...engaged at a vineyard...fabulous, right!?! My favorite thing about the wedding was the nods to their personalities and relationship. This was not a cookie-cutter wedding by any means...it celebrated Katelyn and Billy in so many ways. For example, their signature cocktails were selected because they were their favorite spirits...

a Billy-tini
which was Maker's and ginger ale
(I must admit, this sounds gross to me...but everyone that tried it, loved it!)
 and a
Saucy Senorita
which was white sangria...not only the bride's favorite drink but a nod to her past of studying in Spain and their future which includes moving to Mexico! How fun is that!?!

For the rest of their wedding story, I'll let these fabulously wonderful photos by Catherine Guidry do the talking...enjoy!

Leaning more traditional, Katelyn and Billy opted out of the "first look" and did this instead...

It was such a sweet momment!

This is the view from the Camelot Club of the guests second lining...how fun!

Seriously...such a fun wedding!

{Real Party} Lily's 1st Birthday

I am just too excited to share these photos with you! Not only was this the first Bliss Birthday Party...it was my daughter's first birthday party. So, it's extra special!

There wasn't a set "theme" for this shindig...just bright colors and polka dots! It was such a fun day...even with the rain! I'm so grateful that Chantilly Love Photography was there to capture all the fun moments! Enjoy!
